A community cash boost of £50,000 is still up for grabs thanks to a new airport initiative.
Stansted Community Fund, part of the BAA Communities Trust, has pledged to donate the one-off sum to a charity or community group involved in projects linked to education, the environment and employment.
This grant is being offered in addition to £70,000 announced for good causes earlier this year, where one organisation which has already benefited from grants from the community fund is the Essex Boys and Girls Club of Saffron Walden, which received £5,000 for its Uttlesford Respect Programme.
For details or to apply to the fund, visit www.stanstedairport.com/community.
