Cambridge driver Rob Huff is still searching for that elusive home win in the World Touring Car Championship but was pleased with his work at Brands Hatch last weekend (17th - 18th July).
Huff, 30, was second in the first of Sunday’s two races behind Chevrolet teammate Yvan Muller and sixth in the second which was won by BMW’s Andy Priaulx.
Huff remains fourth in the drivers’ standings with 130 points, 69 behind leader Muller, while Chevrolet continues to dominate the manufacturers’ championship. SEAT driver Gabriele Tarquini and Priaulx are also above Huff but he is still hopeful of catching the Frenchman.
Huff suffered similar fate to last year at Brands Hatch, where he had to settle for second behind teammate Alain Menu last year at Brands Hatch, but will be confident that he can top the podium in the future.
