Warboys White Hart's hopes in the English Club Two Fours Bowls Championships came to an end in the regional finals at York.
They came through their semi-final with a 46-39 win over Felixstowe & Suffolk, with Nicky Brett skipping his rink to a 26-17 victory. Brett was also successful in the final with a narrow 22-20 triumph, but White Hart went down 48-42 overall to Gosforth in the final.
Nicky Brett wasn’t the only England international from Cambridgeshire in the Warboys squad, with brothers Tristan and Eon Morton also competing for the club.
