Rachel Dunn is celebrating after being called up for England’s netball squad for the Commonwealth Games.
The Cambridge-based player has been included in a 12-strong team for the trip to Delhi in October with the aim of turning bronze from Melbourne in 2006 into gold.
Dunn, 27, who plays goal-attack for Co-Operative Super League side Surrey Storm, admitted England would face their toughest competition from world champions Australia, Commonwealth title-holders New Zealand and Jamaica.
England have been drawn in the same pool as New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, South Africa, Barbados and the Cook Islands, with the top two going through to the semi finals.
Dunn and her teammates will warm up for their tilt at the Commonwealths with a Test series away to Jamaica later this month.
