Great East Run-ners training in Peterborough

People aiming to get fit for the Perkins Great Eastern Run on Sunday 10th October have benefited from free training sessions offered by Advance Performance, based in Fengate.

The running equipment store welcomed runners on Saturday, who were given advice on how to prevent injury and what to wear during the run.

The Great Eastern Run consists of two events – a 13.5-mile half marathon and a five-kilometre fun run – both organised by Peterborough City Council. The nominated charity is Anna’s Hope, which supports children with brain tumours, but runners can also raise cash for the charity of their choice.
