Comberton Judo Club and Anglia Ruskin University have paired up to deliver a women’s only training session led by 2 times world champion and double Olympic medallist Emanuela Pierantozzi on Saturday 28th August at Comberton Leisure in Cambridge.
The session will run from 9.45am to 4pm with a lunch break at 1pm, at a cost of £10 per person. A Question and Answer session will be held from 4pm for attendees to ask Pierantozzi about her career experiences.
In addition to the training session for the women/girls they will be delivering a session for parents titled 'the developing female athlete'. The aim of this session is to educate parents (and coaches) on how female athletes develop, what training they should be doing and when they should be doing it.
The session will also dispel some of the myths surrounding female training regimes, consider overtraining and how to avoid it. This session will be led by EJU Level 5 Performance coach Bob Challis.
To book a place onto this session, complete the form attached below and return it to Bob Challis at the address provided.
