Richard Catton has skipped his Cambridge & County rink to the men’s fours title at the English Championships in Worthing.
Catton and clubmates Martin Pankhurst, Kevin Bane and Ian Miller claimed an 18-17 win in the final following an extra end against David Mason, Scott Whiting, Joe Kelly and Grant Allen, of Herne Bay. The final success came after earlier defeating a Harpenden quartet 24-7 in the semi finals.
