Huntingdon Rower Edward Adams has completed his most successful season by winning Elite Sculls races at regattas in Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Monmouth and Sudbury. Adams has been rowing for more than 17 years, is a member at Huntingdon Boat Club and has represented the club at singles, doubles, fours and eights. The young athlete scraped first place in the first outing of the season at Shrewsbury but as events followed, his hard year-long personal training programme paid off when he took wins in three other regattas. In total, Edward has won over 90 events for his club and is now focusing on national championships.
