George Youngs has been among the Hunts Athletics Club records in recent weeks.
The 10-year-old athlete set an under-11s boys’ club record of 17m in the javelin, and followed that up in the 200m and high jump.
Youngs took the 200m best down by five seconds to 34.3sec, and added 10cm to the high jump best, to 1m.
William Alden broke the record in the shot putt, taking it to 6.06m, and Harriet Bruce added 20cm to the previous best in the girls’ high jump, taking it to 1.10m.
At the fourth and final club championships, the class performance came from Jonathan Edwards, who passed the 14-metre barrier with 14.05m in the shot putt.
