The 19-year-old athlete won the Anglia Ruskin Disabled Sport Performer award at the LIVING SPORT Sports Awards last year.
And at the BBC East Sports awards last November, she was presented with the disabled sports personality of the year prize.
But she has not eased up, and has just returned from the first World Championships in Athletics for People with Down Syndrome IAADS in Mexico with four gold medals.
Cox, who lives in Toft and studies at the College of West Anglia, was attending her first international event, and aiming to build on her two silver medals at the Mencap Nationals in Manchester and two gold medals at the Disability Sport England Nationals.
The sprinter, who is coached at Cambridge & Coleridge AC by Bryn Percival and James Brennand, had to cope with the hot and humid conditions of Mexico.
Her first race was the 100m, and she earned gold, which meant that the first national anthem played at the inaugural games was God Save the Queen.
Next up was victory in the 400m, followed by the 200m and then the long jump.
Cox will now turn her focus to the Athens 2011 Special Olympics World Games, as she is one of only eight athletes selected to represent Great Britain.
She is sure to be a contender in the LIVING SPORT Sports Awards 2010, and nominations are open until October 4.
The shortlisted nominees will be invited to a gala presentation night on Wednesday, November 17, featuring a three-course meal and a mystery star guest.
All the winners will be put forward to the BBC East Region Sports Awards, which in turn filter into the BBC Sports Personality of the Year programme.
Details of how to make a nomination can be found here or by visiting www.cambridge-news.co.uk/sport .
