Melbourne bid first for Emma
Emma Pooley will crank up her preparations for the Commonwealth Games at the UCI World Road Championships in Melbourne, which begin tomorrow.
The former Cambridge Triathlon Club member will compete in the time trial tomorrow, before testing her skills in Saturday’s road race.
Pooley, who won a silver medal in the time trial at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, will head to Delhi immediately after the tournament.
