Living Sport are working with Carol Gronow, Cambridgeshire County Council’s Advisor for Physical Education, to offer support and guidance to Primary Schools around the Primary Sports Premium funding. This support is part of the Government’s drive to ensure that the Sport Premium is used as effectively as possible in all schools.
We are offering schools, who feel they need support, a free review of your PE and sport provision with Carol Gronow (or another experienced advisor). Carol will work with the Head Teacher and subject leader to help assess the existing PE and Sport delivery and then offer advice about what the school might choose to plan to do, sharing all the good quality agency support that is available from both local and national partners. She can then arrange a follow up meeting to review your plans if this is required.
The aim of this work is to ensure:
- Clear independent advice is given schools due to the wide range of offers available
- That the maximum impact is gained by schools from Primary Sports Premium funding
- That schools are ready for inspections by Ofsted who will be monitoring the impact of the Primary Sports Premium funding
