Peterborough Vivacity Leisure Services
Look out for the Peterborough Festival this summer, running form the 25th June to the 10th of July 2011. There will be plenty of physical activity events that your organisation can take part in.
We are working with our Partners British Cycling (and Sky), Vivacity and Peterborough City Council to develop business focused Sky Rides helping businesses to help their workforces improve their health and wellbeing.
Breeze Womens Cycle Champions Project
British Cycling has launched Breeze, a new national network of fun, local and flexible bike rides for women. Led by women for women, Breeze bike rides are local, friendly, free and informal. The short, traffic-free rides are ideal for busy mums and anyone who hasn’t been on a bike for a while
Walking for health in Peterborough
Walk with Us is Peterborough’s Walking for Health Scheme. Everybody is welcome on the walks, even people who wouldn’t call themselves active. Walking makes you feel good and improves your health, and Walk with Us provides an opportunity to have fun and get to know others along the way.

East Cambridgeshire District Council Leisure Services and East Cambridgeshire District Council Sport and Physical Activity Services are the two portals for businesses to access when looking at developing health and wellbeing services in the East Cambridge area. There are walking, cycling and sporting programmes throughout East Cambridgeshire and the District Council is keen to work with businesses to develop more.

These services are free and can include
- workplace smoking cessation clinic for up to 7 weeks,
