Funding Criteria

In order to receive funding from the programme, your project must meet several requirements outlined in the criteria below.

Essential Criteria

• Clubs must be Clubmark (or equivalent), working towards or agree to work towards within the next 12 months or NGB recommended with evidence i.e. insurance/ safeguarding
• Club/organisation bank account available
• Create sessions targeting the 16+
• Activity to target adults who are not participating regularly in sport in their own time
• Activity must be a new initiative or demonstrate additionality over current provision
• Activities should match as well as generate demand
• The emphasis on the class is inclusive, adaptable and fun
• Sessions are at least one hour in length and run weekly for 6-10 weeks
• All activity must show how it is to become sustainable/develop once funding has finished e.g. have court space available for any new members/ have volunteers/ staff time that can dedicate towards promoting sessions etc.
• The coach(s) hold a NGB recognised coaching qualification equating to a minimum standard of UKcc level 2
• Willing to have photos and evaluation data gathered on club and sessions.

Desirable Criteria

• Clubs location of Fenland, East Cambs or Peterborough
• Applications/clubs that use volunteers
• Partnership working is strongly recommended (i.e. National Governing Body etc.)
• Ratio of exit pathway people realistic and 60% and above
