Become a Sport Maker

Be part of the LONDON 2012 Legacy. The Olympic and Paralympic Legacy isn't just about elite sport, it could also be about getting involved in sport in your local community.

Have you ever thought about setting up a regular social sport activity in your community? Perhaps running or walking groups, 5 a side football, or informal badminton sessions. Or if you have great IT, marketing or organisational skills that could help a local sports group, we need your help! This is your chance to support local sport in the lead up to the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics - and beyond.

To become a Sport Makers you will need to attend a FREE Sport Makers workshop. During and after the workshop takes place LIVING SPORT will work with you to find you a suitable opportunity or support you to create your own sports activity in your local community. There are lots of local opportunities to suit a wide range of skills and interests. Once this is in place we ask you to complete at least 10 hours which you can easily record online.

Sport Makers who actively take part in the programme will receive an Adidas polo shirt and bag. We also hope to announce further Olympic/Paralympic incentives throughout 2012.
