The Sport Makers programmme matches talented and community based people, who are inspired by London 2012, with local sports clubs and organisations.
Whether you need help to run an event, new people to run a new activity, an IT talent to help with your website, a coach or able administrator, Sport Makers can help!
Locally we aim to recruit at least 750 potential 'Sport Makers', across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough - who don’t currently help in sport. Sport Makers will be invited to attend a FREE workshop and asked to undertake a minimum of 10 hours (which they will record online).
Ultimately, our aim is to ensure that at least half of these will continue in sport, creating a legacy of a new wave of Sport Makers that will be invaluable to our local sports clubs. We hope that by creating this significant boost to our workforce, it will provide the opportunities for many more people to take part in sport.
Organisations can register their sporting opportunities on the Sport Makers website.
If you would like more information or to discuss potential Sport Makers opportunities within your club/organisation please contact Claire Thorby or Ryan Cullum on the details below.
