Sponsorship

LIVING SPORT is currently looking for new sponsors to support the Youth Games PLUS 2011. The Games are in their 6th year and will be taking place at the One Leisure St Ives Outdoor Centre on Friday 10th June 2011.

They are open to any young person that goes to a school in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who has a disability, special or additional needs. Participants can choose to compete in Boccia, Cricket, Netball, Table Cricket, Tag Rugby and Athletics. Alongside the competitive sports will be the popular ‘Taster Village’ where participants can come along and try a range of different sports just for fun.

The Games is a great day for young people with disabilities to experience competing at county level against young people with similar needs from different schools across the county, the day is also about having fun and meeting new friends.

Two sponsorships are available:

PRINCIPLE SPONSOR

The principle sponsor will provide support of £2,500 for the next three years, totalling to £7,500 and be the Youth Games PLUS Official Sponsor. Benefits include the opportunity for sponsors to have:

• Logo and name in Games literature including the LIVING SPORT website and Press Releases as an official sponsor of the Games
• Logo on Games banners and signs displayed around the Games
• Logo across the back of all volunteer T-shirts (approx. 120)
• Logo on Certificates received by all competitors
• An invitation for staff to volunteer at the Games
• Advertising in Event Programme distributed to all attendees (approx. 1,000)
• Logo on Give Away Bags for each competitor, school staff and volunteer (approx. 1,000)
• Merchandise in the Give Away Bags
• An invitation to join us on the day with an exhibition stand and banners
• An opportunity to present medals and trophies at the closing ceremony
• Advertising in the Event Programme and exhibition stand at the LIVING SPORT Sports Awards along with 2 VIP tickets to the Award Ceremony in November 2011
• LIVING SPORT will endeavour to obtain Sport Match funding to double the value of the sponsorship

SECONDARY SPONSOR

The secondary sponsor will support £500 per year for three years, totalling £1,500. Benefits include the opportunity for the sponsor to have:

• Logo and name in Games literature including the LIVING SPORT website and Press Releases as an official sponsor of the Games
• An invitation for staff to volunteer at the Games
• Advertising in Event Programme distributed to all attendees (approx. 1,000)
• Merchandise in the Give Away Bags (approx. 1,000)
• An invitation to join us on the day with an exhibition stand and banners
• Advertising in the Event Programme at the LIVING SPORT Sports Awards Ceremony in November 2011 (approx. 250)
• LIVING SPORT will endeavour to obtain Sport Match funding to double the value of sponsorship, if the sponsor cam commit for three years

ADVERTISING

Take out an advert in the Youth Games PLUS Event Programme or donate items to add to the Games free souvenir bags, approximately 1000 programmes and bags given to participants, school staff and volunteers to take home as a souvenir of their day.

Prices range from £85 - £150 depending on size of the advert or type of items.
