Cambridge charity Power 2 Inspire is launching an all new community inclusive weekly sport programme in 2018. The programme leads on from the adapted sports days in schools that they deliver across the county. In partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council and Sport England, this programme of inclusive sport includes boccia, new age kurling, sitting volleyball, table cricket, goalball and polybat. Sessions are open to all, free of charge, in an inclusive, friendly and relaxed environment. Sessions start in January 2018, in community venues in Huntingdon, Ely and March. Open and accessible to all – whether you are disabled or not, old or young – these are great ways to get out, meet new friends and enjoy the benefits of moderate exercise.
The Huntingdon session is being delivered at Huntingdon Tesco, on Tuesday mornings from 9th January to 24th March 2018. The Ely session at the Larkfield Community Centre and will run on Wednesday mornings from 9th January. The March session is at March Library on a Wednesday evening from 24th January. For more information see the posters for each location.
