The country’s oldest Badminton England Coach, Colin Bedford aged 85 from March Badminton Club, is organising a non-stop Badminton tournament on Saturday 26th March 2022 to raise funds for Living Sport and Cancer Research.

All budding players are encouraged to come down and join in Bedford’s Badminton Bonanza which is being held at Neale-Wade Academy in March from 9am to 5pm. Colin hopes the event will inspire people to give Badminton a try as well as offer seasoned players a fun playing opportunity.

Four courts will be in action on the day, with players rotating throughout the day to ensure the Badminton never stops!

Former Living Sport Sports Award winner, Colin, has played Badminton since he was 11 years old and has been coaching for 55 years. He has dedicated much of his life to the sport and has coached over 8000 pupils and will be offering coaching support on the day.

A number of the Living Sport will be joining in on the day and you can show your support for them by donating below.

Everyone is welcome on the day and can come along and get involved (entry fee of £5).
