This series is a new addition to Living Sport’s event programme. Each of the 4 races will take place around Nene Park, Peterborough, PE2 5UU. Every course has been designed to encompass every inch of the parks breathe taking lakes, woodland and meadows during each season.
Along with the most beautiful scenery, runners will benefit from:
- Chip Timing
- Runners T-shirt
- Finisher Medal
- Photos to download
What better way to spend a Sunday morning than by taking part in our 4 Seasons series! Supported by great marshals and a lovely venue for spectators too. All runs apart from the Spring 10K, which starts at the Rowing lake (Thorpe Meadows) will start at Ferry Meadows close to the Lakeside Centre.
Whether you are a regular Parkrunner, or a runner from one of the many great clubs around the city looking to step up in distance, or even someone simply looking for a challenge – this new series at the picturesque Nene Park are the runs for you!
Our Partnership with Head to Toe Charity
We are delighted to announce our growing partnership with ‘Head to Toe’ for this series. ‘Head to Toe’ is the charity for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT). They help their amazing NHS staff to provide even better care and treatment by enhancing the services that CPFT provides, supporting people of all ages receiving mental health, community and social care across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. So if a runner is raising money for charity can we encourage them to possibly run for ‘Head to Toe’.
After our donation to Head To Toe, the proceeds from the race go towards the work Living Sport do to improve the health and well being of people in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire through participation in sport and physical activity.
