Living Sport Festival of Running 2020

It was fantastic to see so many people get involved in Living Sport’s first ever virtual race event - the Living Sport Festival of Running 2020 in partnership with Central England Co-operative. A huge well done to everyone who took part this November!

In a year where many sporting events had to be cancelled, we were so pleased to be able to run this event. It meant so much that we were able to provide the opportunity for people to get out, get active and challenge themselves across the 10 mile, 10km and 5km distances.

It did not come without its challenges however – including the introduction of the nationwide lockdown five days into the month! We worked hard to adapt our plans and event logistics and are enormously grateful to everyone for showing such understanding and patience during this time. Thank you for your support.

CONGRATULATIONS to the age-graded leaderboard winners :

10 Mile at Nene Park - Jo Morris

10 Mile Own Route - Matthew Doyle

10km at Nene Park - Bryan Smale

10km Own Route - Sara Strid-Coughlan

5km at Nene Park - Erica Pilkinton

5km Own Route - Carry Murphy

5km Wheelchair Own Route - Sophie Etheridge
