Emergency First Aid at Work is Trainer Assessed throughout the course and the assessment should determine a learner’s ability to act safely, promptly and effectively when an emergency occurs at work and to deal with a casualty. All Assessment Criteria in the units must be achieved.

  • Understanding the role and responsibilities of a first aider.
  • How to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally.
  • How to manage a casualty who is in shock.
  • How to assess an incident.
  • How to recognise and assist a casualty who is choking.
  • How to manage a casualty with a minor injury.
  • How to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally.
  • How to manage a casualty with external bleeding.

Our Emergency First Aid workshops are split over two evenings from 6.30 – 9.30pm and you must attend both dates in order to receive certification.

Cost: £65 per person

Unfortunately, due to the current situation with Covid-19 we are not holding any face to face training courses for the foreseeable future.  This is due to a number of factors including the health and safety of both our participants and trainers, restrictions put in place by facilities that we use and being able to cover our costs.

Please keep an eye out on our website for future dates which we hope to set up as soon as we possibly can.
