Our Work With Local & National Partners

Living an active lifestyle helps you feel healthier, happier and more connected. We believe we need to work in partnership with others to address this fully so we can then achieve even more together.

Discover more about how we work and how our work fits with local and national priorities, and how we can support you, by reading our case studies and clicking on one of the below.

Fitting Into The Current Landscape

Our work is designed to promote active lifestyles, in line with both local priorities and national strategies. You can see how our work contributes to these through 'Fitting into the current landscape'.

Facts, Figures and Local Information

Across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, a quarter of adults are still inactive and more than a third are not active enough to benefit their health. And unfortunately our children are even less active with more than half not active enough to benefit their health. Look at what the data says through 'Facts, figures and local information'.

Tools and Resources

In this section you will find links to tools and resources that you need to plan and carry out a physical activity project/programme.

Please use the information above that we have signposted you to but please get in touch if you would like to:

  • discuss how we could work together to improve levels of physical activity and therefore health within the county
  • discuss working together to address wider outcomes
  • discuss your project or need further help

Think about how your own work could benefit if we link our work with yours so together we can address joint objectives. We CAN achieve more if we work together.

Boing Virtual Coaching Course (active play games for those working with 5-12s)

Boing is based on a set of principles that can be applied to anywhere children are being active. These principles help coaches, volunteers, teachers, community group leaders, parents and carers let children be children by embracing their imaginations.
