Following the development of our new partnership with the award winning technology company, Wildgoose; we are delighted to be able to support schools across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to promote active learning within a classroom environment.
‘Tech-Know Trail’ is an exciting new programme which promotes active-literacy and active-numeracy and can be used throughout the school day. The idea of the programme is to get the classroom active by engaging students in interactive learning whilst on the move;
- Games have been created for Years 2 to 6 with content designed by primary school teachers
- Using android or iOS devices, schools simply download the app, scan the appropriate QR Code from your Wildgoose account and away you go!
- Pupils will then be required to locate and scan relevant images (i.e. a blue square) to unlock a series of questions. Games take approx. 20-30 minutes and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
For a limited time, schools can purchase a licence which will allow them to access up to 100 games until the end of the academic year, for just £75. This is an introductory offer for the 2018/19 academic year, however the product will run on a yearly subscription and as of yet, costs for Year 2 have yet to be decided. Bespoke games can be made on request to Living Sport, however there will be a fee that will apply dependent on content.
