For Adults

Safeguarding adults is everybody’s responsibility. Where you are providing sport and physical activity for adults, it is recommended that you have an adult safeguarding policy in place. This policy should be shared with and implemented by all of your coaches, leaders, members, committee members and participants and you should ensure they know how to identify and act upon concerns.

To help you, Club Matters have worked with the Ann Craft Trust to create this introductory video.

An introduction to safeguarding adults

The video takes you through the key principles of Safeguarding Adults and offers some guidance for dealing with safeguarding issues. Links for more advice and information can be found at the end of the video.
