Satellite Clubs It’s changed my behaviour at school for the better, and I’m more respectful and confident to do the right thing. Working with young people? You can access funding through Satellite Clubs to set up new physical activity sessions that are fun and free for teenagers to attend. Our 2020-21 Satellite Clubs programme works with local sport and physical activity clubs that are designed around the needs of young people and provides them with positive, enjoyable experiences, making it easier for them to become and remain physically active. The programme delivery is aimed at young people aged 14-19 years. Sessions should consist of a regular opportunity (weekly or fortnightly) to take place over a minimum of 30 weeks. We welcome applications from sports and physical activity clubs and youth organisations. The sessions must link with Living Sport strategic objectives: Young people with a disability/long term health condition BAME Young people (Black and Minority Ethnic) Disadvantaged communities (low socio economic) LGBT community Young people with mental health conditions Supporting the development of opportunities in new growth communities Identified areas of need Steps to apply FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE HERE ON SEPTEMBER 1ST Applicant to complete expression of interest (EOI) form via link on website between 1-21 September 2020.
