School Games Culture and Workforce
Without the fantastic support we receive for each one of our School Games events from our amazing young workforce, the School Games would not be possible. From providing support at our opening ceremony to refereeing, umpiring and officiating – our young workforce is pivotal to how our School Games is run. If you have a talented group of leaders or have individuals who have the confidence and delivery to be one of our Master of Ceremonies/Ambassador, please fill in one of our entry forms below.
In addition to that, we are proud that we can offer a unique opportunity to schools and individuals to perform in front of 600+ students and staff at our Summer School Games event. Performing on stage is often a real challenge but one that many embrace and is often the start of something special. Has your school got a hysterical comedian, a beautifully singing choir, a group with a perfectly timed dance routine? These are just some examples of the types of performances that we want to see at our Opening Ceremony. Please fill in one of our entry forms below.
Finally, for the first time ever, we are excited to introduce a new cultural element to our School Games in the form of a Photography Competition. With two competitions available for students to enter, both KS2 and Secondary School students have the opportunity to win. We want students to capture the essence of School Sport in a photo and caption it relating to one of the Spirit of the Games – Determination, Honesty, Passion, Respect, Self-Belief and Teamwork. Winners will receive an A1 framed print of their photo for their school and the individual will receive an A3 framed print as well as an Amazon Voucher. For more information, please see links below to our poster and terms and conditions.
